With the upcoming flu season being about 6 months away my goal is to help our community's children become physically prepared for this inevitable season of sickness. For this reason, our pharmacy, Birdsboro Pharmacy, is now providing a free one year supply of multiple vitamins for all children, ages 5 to 12 years in the community.
We have launched this initiative because we see that as a community, stress levels are at an all time high and families are busier than ever. Because of this, we see our neighbors with taxed natural immune systems, which in turn makes them more susceptible to all viruses including the flu. Good hygiene and a nutritious diet are more important than ever in avoiding disease but healthy eating isn’t always possible.
The line of vitamins included in this offer is manufactured by Mason Vitamins, one of the largest vitamin suppliers in the United States. Children will receive a one month supply which can be refilled monthly free of charge.
